Description
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
A microbiologist with 2 years of experience in research and 1 year of experience in editing and reviewing manuscript. A competent and focused Microbiologist who can carry out complex experiments, review data and write up reports to advise whether the results are valid against relevant testing protocols or not. I have the ability to design protocols to international standards, and have experience of working with microorganisms at both the molecular and cellular level. Right now, I am looking for an opportunity to take the next step in my career ladder, that will give me the chance to grow quickly.

Projects
Organization: National dairy research institute, Karnal, India 2 years
An institute with annual budget of over Rs 2.15 billion, 160 scientists,185 technical staff and over 1800 dairy animals. It conducts research in most advanced areas of microbiology, biotechnology, molecular biology, cell structure, fermentation technology, nutritional studies, food technology.
Project: Development of edible antimicrobial packaging films for traditional dairy
sweetmeats using metabolites of Lactic acid bacteria.
Project Description:
• Isolated and identified lactic acid bacteria from different sources
• Used design expert software for optimization of culture conditions of lactic acid bacteria
• Checked the antimicrobial activity of their metabolites by spot test and well diffusion test
• Identified the metabolites by GC-MS, metabolic analysis was done by the software “Metaboanalyst” using tools of PCA, Heatmap and hierarchical clustering
• Developed the edible packaging sheets and checked their mechanical, physical and chemical properties
• Incorporated the metabolites of LAB in edible packaging sheet and checked for the antimicrobial activity
• Checked the microbial count of the dairy products before and after wrap in edible sheets
• Checked the potency of edible sheets with respect to time
Organization: Indian Herbs PVT. LTD, Saharanpur, India 1 month
It’s a company which Manufactures Herbal Animal Health Care product with annual revenue ~10 million.
Project: Isolation of microorganism from the herbal crude sample.
Project Description: –
• The objective was to check the contamination in herbal crude Sample
• Different kind of microbes were isolated and identified via different microbiological and biochemical tests during this project
Organization: Helix biogenesis, Noida, India. 3 months
Helix BioGenesis undertakes research in the frontier areas of Molecular biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Medical biotech and Diagnostic services.
Project: Isolation and cloning of oil-degrading genes from Pseudomonas aeruginosa to
E.coli and optimization of culture condition.
Project Description: –
• Optimized the culture conditions for Pseudomonas aeruginosa
• Inserted the oil-degrading genes of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in the pGEM-T vector
and then transformed the vector in competent cells of E.coli
