Duties and responsibilities:


To work as internal auditor for NABH standards.
To ensure the disaster management practice.
To ensure the management of emergency services including Ambulance services
To ensure the management of admission and discharges.
To manage patient complaints and grievances.
To audit the medical records.
To ensure the presentation of domestic inquiries.
To manage infection control.
To be involved in planning, organising, and managing all medical services.
To work in close collaboration with consultants, Nursing and other clinical services to
ensure delivery of health care services.

To design and implement effective Medical, Nursing and paramedical staff model in
conjunction with CMA & ACMA.

To ensure effective implementation of policies and procedures that are laid down by
medical administration.

To participate in the quality improvement programs.
To work in close collaboration with medical/ para medical/ Nursing to ensure
implementation of approved quality programs & statutory compliance.

To ensure that all clinical policies and procedures within the hospital meets the
requirement of licensing or accrediting bodies.

To handle medico-legal issues.
To resolve billing payment issues refered  by billing manager/CMA/ACMA.
To ensure the CGHS/ECHS/TPA’s issues and admissions.
To ensure the recovery of outstanding bills where intervention is seeked by billing

To resolve minor IT issues.
To ensure the management of diagnostic services.
To ensure smooth medical operations.
To handle dietary issues of patients.
To handle free bed patients along with their document verification.
To coordinate with all quality & accreditation related activities.
To get repair minor faults in medical equipments and system like PACS, Ventilators,
Patient Beds, Patient Bells, X-ray printers, Lab equipment’s concerning department.

Any other work assigned by MD, CMA, ACMA.

COVID Duty Responsibilities were as follows:
Monitoring covid related statutory compliance (visitor /attendant policy, isolation of new admission, screening of all individuals including staff patients and attendants, covid testing protocols for all surgical and new admissions, staggering suspected and non suspected patients with proper documentation of screening etc)
Regular updates of covid data on covid in all Govt. Portals.
Facilitation for teleconsultation patients.
Facilitating arrangement of video calling for patients attendant, regular messaging of daily status
Monitoring all COVID reports and transfer of suspected covid patients to isolation ward if turned positive with proper sanitation protocol and arrangements for tracing of the patients.
Facilitation of covid testing of staff.
Transfer of patients in case of non availability of bed and coordination with outsourced and govt. Ambulance
Complete coordination in proper dead body disposal as per guidelines in covid death cases including booking of cremation ground as per attendant preference and transports
