Basic Education: Passed XII th(90%) CBSE in 1989.

MBBS: B.J. Medical College Pune, in 1995- from Pune University. After Graduation(MBBS) I Got commissioned as officer/Captain in Indian (Army Medical Corps) in 1997 and served Army for 24 Years and I am registered with Medical Council of India both for MBBS, MD.

I Completed my MD Psychiatry at Armed Forces Medical College, Pune in 2007; Worked as Senior Resident Psychiatry at AFMC Pune from 2005 to 2007.

My Special areas of Interest and research are Organic Psychiatry, Anxiety related disorders and Mood Disorders.

Later I worked as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Rajiv Gandhi University, Bangalore ,Karnataka between Jul 13 to Feb 17 ; I am also a registered teacher in Psychiatry and I became Associate Professor at Department of Psychiatry AFMC Pune since Jul 2018 onwards. My Total Teaching experience is about Nine Years in teaching students of MBBS and MD(Psychiatry)

I am registered with MCI/Dubai Health Authority(DHA) as Psychiatrist.

I have been running OPD services, consultation liaison psychiatry, (Cross referrals from other specialties) since 2007 and i have managed “inpatients” in Psychiatry ward of about 30 patients along with about 50 daily OPD patients since year 2006 . Giving individual and supportive psychotherapy to acutely disturbed patients apart from chemical restrain, Counseling sessions to substance abuse and marital discord and Crisis intervention.

I also have experience of about 15 years in Electro convulsive therapy (ECT) to suicidal and severely disturbed psychotic patients.

I am also registered as Psychiatrist in Dubai health Authority for one year
