Position:Medical Coordinator

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

 

Implementation of Clinical Services
Oversee daily implementation and monitoring of medical services at all RI supported mobile and static health clinics.
Put in place quality control measures to regularly assess the quality of medical services being provided to patients.
Establish a pathway for referral of complicated cases to higher level care.
Assist clinical supervisors in ensuring supply chain of needed medications and consumables. Raise purchase requests for needed items.
Ensure all clinics are prepared for disease prevention, detection and response.
Quickly address problems with implementation that arise on a day-to-day basis, liaising with the Health Program Manager as needed for additional support.
Ensure quality health data is being captured by the medical staff and DSO.
Staff Management.
Provide line management of clinic supervisors.
Provide site-level technical support through regular field visits, mentorship, coaching and supervision of clinical staff at the facilities.
Build capacity of clinical staff, and ensure that implementation quality is in line with RI and MOH standards.

Position: Health Officer (Medical doctor)

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

To apply medical knowledge and skills to diagnose and prevent illness, carry out outpatients consultation as per request, prescribing the necessary treatment respecting the National and WHO protocols.

Keep the patient and/or his/her illness and provide them with appropriate explanations about the treatment and the expected progression of the disease to follow.

Implement counseling and provision of Clinical Care of Sexual Assault Survivors, Provision of basic first aid for domestic violence, treatment of STIs, Menstrual regulation, ANC and PNC.

24/7 duty as a part to consult and counseling Rohinga and Local patients (ANC, PNC, Pediatrics, Food poisoning, Skin Diseases, Cut injury, General complaints like weakness, body pain etc) in OPD from 9 am to 3 pm, Continuously monitor emergency patients, manage cut injury, accidental injury patients, monitor medical stock, prepare Drug requisition monthly as per patients demand, report to Country Director after every leave in a meeting about the gaps, advantage and how to improve health sector

To manage the OPD patients and the indoor admitted patients with regular follow up, refer the emergency patients to higher center for further better treatment after consult with the specialist under Ahsandha coverage, take medical sessions and  manage casualty department with normal delivery.

There was no any holiday. At any time had to attend patients but working hour 8 hours /day. Totally 24/7 doctor had to ready to receive any patients anyway.

To attend to go any other island during leave of the medical doctor of that island as deputation which was decided by Regional Hospital Management.
