Job Description
· Educational Degree: Masters in Pulmonology / MD /Board certified.
· DHA/MOH license or Letter
· 5 years of Hospital experience
Arabic speaking will be an advantage
Job Responsibilities:
– Diagnosis and treatment of chest or lung problems including; asthma, COPD, sleep disorders, lung cancer, pulmonary fibrosis (interstitial lung diseases), chest infections, bronchiectasis, smoking cessation, pulmonary hypertension, etc.
– Work as a part of a team that includes other doctors, nurses, therapists, and medical technologists.
– Handling emergencies besides the ICU when required.
– Checks records, charts, and reports of the patient.
– Take rounds of the ward/ICU to check on patient’s progress
Counseling patients and their families as regards attitude/psychology, medication/ treatment/ precautions to be taken/ risk factors, diet and nutrition/ exercises, etc.
– Attending conferences, seminars, conventions to gain and contribute knowledge and expertise.
