•Consistently offer engaging and friendly service and follow department policies, procedures, and service standards to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
•Clean Stoves and Burners, Deep Fat Fryers, Ovens, Grills, overhead Air Conditioning ducts, Kitchen Exhaust ducts, Dough-sheeter, Bain-Maries, Refrigerators using proper cleaning solutions, brushes and washcloths.
•Wash utensils, such as pots, pans, and trays by hand using cleaning detergents. Inspects and stacks cleaned items and sends soiled items back for pre-scrubbing and re-washing.
•Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dishwashing machine, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor.
•Drain, dry, and stack items after washing.
•Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the hotel health and safety program.
•Exhibit good knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and cleaning agents and always practice economy of use of chemical and cleaning supplies, electricity, and water, whenever possible.
•Ability to work on flexible shifts including overnight, weekends, and holidays on a rotation basis.
•Ensure proper and correct handling of all crockery, glassware, and flatware to reduce breakage costs.
•Transport food supplies such as meats, vegetables, fruits, and canned foods from the storeroom or freezer.
•Assist with basic food preparation such as blending soups, washing, and peeling of fruits and vegetables as and when requested by the Senior Chef or Sous Chef.
•Wash and disinfect kitchen and store room areas, chopping boards, work tables, tools, knives, and other kitchen equipment. Ensure all clean equipment is stored in designated areas.
•Receive daily deliveries from F&B stores correctly and check on the expiration dates and food labels, store perishables properly, and rotate stock as per FIFO standards.
•Use detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals in the 2-compartment sink to clean dishes.
•Clean and mop all areas in assigned areas.
•Dispose of broken glass and chinaware in the proper containers. Break down cardboard boxes and place them and other recyclables in the recycle bin.
•Complete opening and closing duties monitor temperature control sheets for chillers and freezers, and proper handovers to the next shift, if any on a daily basis.

•Decent proficiency in English (verbal, listening, writing)
•Attention to detail
•Skilled in following food safety practices and recognizing hazards.
•Basic knowledge of Food Hygiene Regulations.
•To be located within UAE and can join immediately
•Able to work alone and within a team
